The Global Gaming Awards announce the best of the best

It’s been a weird run-up to the announcement of the Global Gaming awards London 2022 winners. First the ceremony – held at the exclusive London Hippodrome – was delayed from the announced 31 January date to a tentative 11 April. Then the awards went by with barely a blip on our collective radars.

Still, the ceremony certainly looked rather prestigious, and the best and brightest of our industry were out in full force (within all the Covid requirements, of course). Congratulations to all the nominees. Just being nominated puts you in the ranks of the most highly regarded in the world. And special congrats to all the winners – well done and keep bringing us the best that the gaming and gambling world can offer.

What got us the most excited?

For the CasinoPlay.com crew, the announcements of the Online Casino of the Year, the Online Casino Supplier of the Year, Casino Product of the Year, and the Product Launch of the Year were especially exciting. These are, after all, where we spend most of our valuable time.

LeoVegas

Online Casino of the Year

LeoVegas are well-deserved winners of Online Casino of the Year. They offer a truly global, superb online and mobile casino experience that ranks right at the top of online casinos you must visit. Our review of LeoVegas puts them at the pinnacle of the global online casino destinations and we are thrilled that the international gaming community agrees with us. Read our LeoVegas review under our Casino Reviews section to see exactly why they are so good!

Evolution gaming

Online Casino Supplier of the Year

Evolution are one of those online casino games providers who just seem to have their finger on the pulse of the modern casino games world. We have seen huge changes in the industry, but the biggest growth is coming from the Live Casino games sector and Evolution are absolutely dominating here!

Casino Product of the Year

For an industry that is all about gaming there has been a notable lack of add-ons and innovations that bring true gamification to the players – until now. Oryx Gaming’s Fuze™ product is creating a platform that rewards and enhances our back-end experiences. They have taken a page from the video game industry and brought a host of features to the player that include widgets, badges, progress reports, stats, and more to help us fully understand and master our playing. And, obviously, all the tools an online casino needs to ensure they are bringing the players what they want, when they want it!

Pariplay’s Fusion product is similar, and worthy of sharing the rewards with Oryx. Another tool to increase engagement and satisfaction among players and online casinos, Fusion is bringing added gamification to the user journey, and we cannot wait to see our favourite online casinos offering this innovative experience!

Product Launch of the Year

We’re not gonna lie, we were really rooting for Yggdrasil’s ‘Vikings Go Berzerk Reloaded’. However, if our favourite game from one of our favourite providers was pipped at the post, we’re quite content that it should be by NetEnt’s ‘Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen™’. The world’s most explosively tempered chef gets his very own restaurant-themed slot, with all his most scathing and biting comments included? That is tasty.

Where to next?

The Global Gaming Awards has wrapped its London ceremony and brought us the best from across Europe, now we move on to Asia on the 22nd of August, and end in Las Vegas on the 10th of October. For those lucky enough to be able to wangle an invite, the venues and judges will be announced soon. Keep an eye on CasinoPlay.com for updates.
